The current situation has been hard for everyone, in some way, somehow. I send my thanks to those who have helped out, and hope for better times.
The way we eat has changed, but that doesn't mean good food isn't available. Many restaurants are still open for delivery, takeout, or both.
I just got takeout from a local restaurant called Tip Top, and got to try something that's been on my food bucket list: low country boil.
Low country boil usually has shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes. I was lucky because mine came with onions, which did add to the taste. I got it drenched in butter sauce. For a kick, I added hot sauce.
Everything was cooked perfectly.
The potatoes were soft, and absorbed all the flavor. The shrimp tasted fresh, even though it was covered in butter and spice. I ate a combination of shrimp, potato, and onion, which was tender and flavorful. The little kernels of corn were like a burst of flavor in my mouth. I usually don't like sausage because it's too strong, but this sausage was a good balance of flavor.

This meal was delicious and filling. It's safe to say that this meal has raised my expectations for low country boil! Try it from Tip Top!
Looks fabulously tasty! Reminds me of childhood.
