The Bubble Waffle! Review of Natural Kitchen!

A trendy, Asian inspired restaurant called Natural Kitchen has come to Tallahassee, near FSU. It's within walking distance of the campus. It commonly serves poke bowls, bubble tea, and bubble waffles with ice cream.

I went to the restaurant to try its food out for myself. When you walk in, you're greeted with a cool, modern setting. The place looks clean and there's a nice outdoor sitting area. There's also a bar where you can choose your ingredients for the poke bowl.

For ordering, I recommend looking at the menu ahead of time because there are so many combinations/options.

I ordered the chocolate chip bubble waffle with chocolate ice cream. For toppings, I got chocolate syrup, mango, mango popping boba, and lychee jelly. It came in a small holder. I felt like the food was going to topple over, especially while trying to dig through and eat it.

However, you can't go wrong with the combination and taste: mango and chocolate. At the same time, I don't think you can go wrong with any combination based on the options they give you. The waffle itself was my favorite. The richness from the chocolate and the sweetness from the banana paired excellently. It wasn't too overpowering. I was actually expecting more ice cream and toppings since my waffle was large. Overall, the taste was good, but some of the aspects were not on par.

Natural Kitchen seems like another Asian inspired restaurant. It's a good option for those near FSU's main campus. I definitely want to go back and try other foods and drinks. Until then, I don't know if Natural Kitchen will be anything special or just another trendy restaurant. Go and decide for yourself!
