Must-try food and treats from Starbucks and Einstein Bagels!

Tallahassee, FL

I'm usually not one for coffeehouses, but lately, I have been trying new things from Starbucks and Einstein Bagels.

Recently, I had chocolate dipped madeleines from Starbucks. These are sweet little cakes, that look like shells. They have a nice, light buttery taste, that one could even describe as vanilla. Thankfully, the chocolate is not overpowering.

The iced lemon pound cake from Starbucks is absolutely incredible. The icing is my favorite, with its creamy, tart, and tangy flavor. However, the cake part is also delicious. It is moist, light in texture, and has a subtle, sweet lemon flavor.

After eating those sweet treats, a refresher helps quench the thirst!

Although known for its coffee and pastries, Starbucks also offers some delicious paninis. I tried the Chicken Caprese panini, which is a good meal for on the go. Some may think the chicken is the showstopper, but it's actually the tomato and basil. The tomato has that sun-dried taste, that only elevates the flavor. Overall, delicious.

Moving onto Einstein Bagels, I have recently become fixed on the spinach, mushroom, and Swiss breakfast sandwich. I get it on a sesame bagel and one egg. The spinach and mushroom are the real flavor makes here. Salt and pepper give it that kick it needs.

The Greek yogurt cherry pastry from Einstein is also enjoyable. It has a good balance of flavor. The texture on the outside is light and flaky. The inside has sweet cherries that are strong in flavor, and are paired with creamy, vanilla yogurt.

As I venture out into different food areas, I am surprised by how many things I enjoy eating. Try these foods and treats, and they might surprise you too!

I don't drink coffee, so I never go into those places. But maybe I'll try it out after your review. Didn't realize they had so many other offerings. Loving your photography. I can really see the various layers of the sandwich. Good job!
